At the 113th US Open, the winner may very well be an underdog. As of June 11th, ten players were reported to have odds at 28/1 or lower. In order these top ten are: Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Graeme McDowell, Matt Kuchar, Rory McIlroy, Adam Scott, Justin Rose, Brandt Snedeker, Charl Schwartzel and Lee Westwood. Statistics show that this group will have the odds stacked against them, as six of the last nine winners of the US Open have been first-timers.
